The Sea Wave lives!

The blue boat on Galiano Island...
The Sea Wave circa 2015...
It was more than five years ago that I first featured the land-locked Sea Wave in this blog. It was partially hidden in the undergrowth that marked the entrance to Galiano Island's native reserve.

I decided to see if it was still around during our recent Galiano Island adventure. We drove out to the end of the road, parked and I hiked down the hill.

Sure enough, the Sea Wave was still there, although she looked worse for wear. Despite having lost her superstructure to the wind and elements, her bright blue paint was surprisingly unfaded.
