Waterfront

Interesting architectural details of Victoria's harbour waterfront...
Curvy condos...
The West Bay walkway is a pleasant way to walk from downtown Victoria to the adjacent town of Esquimalt. It offers great views of the working harbour. You might see float planes, cruise ships, tourist harbour ferries, float homes and even the periodic wild life.

You'll also see some eye-catching architecture such as these curved condos that always remind me of something you might see in Florida, or maybe California.

You'll also see the new marina for super-yachts that is nearly completion. As nice as it looks, it's somewhat hypocritical for a city to build something like this while trying to establish its commitment to fighting climate change.

Victoria's soon-to-open marina for big-ass yachts...
A place to park your ostentatious boats...
