Wayback Wednesday: Goderich

These photos first appeared in my previous blog years ago when I visited Goderich, Ontario to visit my ailing mother.

Lake Huron lies immediately to the west of Goderich. The result is these beautiful sunsets over the water.

Goderich is also famous for its salt mine which is the largest in the world. According to this web site:
The mine is as deep as the CN Tower in Toronto is tall. It has operated since 1959 and was acquired by Compass Minerals in 1990.
