The futuristic looking 67-X...
The future is back!
This is a 67-X. Sweet-looking, isn't it, in a sort of future-through-the-past-lens way?

You've never heard of a 67-X? That's because there were only four built back in 1967. They were designed by George Barris, the creator of the 60s Batmobile. They were specially commissioned to mark Canada's Centennial.

This is the only one to have survived this long. It's currently on loan from a private collector and on display in the lobby of the Royal BC Museum.

It's built on a stretched Oldsmobile Toronado frame and features interior swivel seats, a writing table, a picnic cooler and two tape decks.
